Welcome To Our Strange World!

Strange Bird Theatre Co. is proud to be comprised of emerging and established artists from a wide range of professions and walks of life. That being said, the collective is committed  to diversifying stories onstage by providing a platform to under-represented voices, experiences, and topics.

We seek texts that illuminate often-stigmatized social issues and, by bringing them to the forefront, combat their status as taboo or unapproachable. We are most interested in highlighting the myriad complexities of interpersonal relationships and human psychology.

By tackling difficult themes, our goal is to spark dialogue and change.  We strive to create bold, thought provoking work to challenge social constructs and shed light on our shared humanity.

Our Mascots

OBIE
This little cutie is Tatyana's fur child. He has a stuffy nose, loves playing with ice, and enjoys head scratches. Despite seeing ghosts, he is still diligently supportive, and the Strange Birds love him very much.
OLLIE
This perfect little fur ball belongs to Katie. He loves toys, walks, and being rambunctious. Despite always begging for food and rubs, the Strange Birds are so grateful for his presence and support.
